Who we are
Chef T. Shouse brings to the table an extensive background in food service spanning over fifteen years. Her experience is diverse, covering roles in restaurants, hospitals, educational institutions, meal preparation and service, catering, and personal events. Chef Shouse earned her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Indiana State University in 2012, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Culinary Arts from Vincennes University in 2007. Additionally, she is both ServSafe certified and an accredited ServSafe instructor/proctor, qualifications awarded by the National Restaurant Association.

In 2016, Chef T. Shouse embarked on a vegan/plant-based journey, a decision initially sparked by a competitive challenge that teased, "I bet you can't go without meat for a week." What started as a week-long endeavor evolved into months, and eventually, years. This lifestyle shift not only brought her a deep understanding of its health and mental well-being benefits but also led to her losing over 100 pounds, a significant boost in energy levels, and an overall enhancement in quality of life. While Chef Shouse is passionate about her vegan/plant-based lifestyle, her aim is not to persuade others to make the same dietary choices. Rather, her goal is to offer culinary experiences so rich and satisfying that you won't find yourself missing animal products.
